1. Machame Route“Whiskey Route”

Pros:

  • Scenic and varied

  • Good acclimatization with “climb high, sleep low”

Cons:

  • Popular = can be crowded


2. Marangu Route“Coca-Cola Route”

  • Duration: 5–6 days

  • Success Rate: Lower (due to fast ascent)

  • Difficulty: Moderate

  • Scenery: Forest and moorland

  • Accommodation: Huts (not tents)

Pros:

  • Only route with hut accommodation

  • Popular with first-time trekkers

Cons:

  • Less scenic

  • Crowded and rapid ascent affects success rate


3. Lemosho RouteMost Scenic & High Success

  • Duration: 7–8 days

  • Success Rate: Very high
